A consortium of involved stakeholders in Costa Rica have taken it upon themselves to get the Golfo Dulce reason on the East Coast of Costa Rica declared an International Whale Heritage site. The area, which incorporates Golfito Bay and Pavon Bay, is extremely popular with Humpback Whales and other cetations – who travel here from right across the Pacific Ocean.
